It is our pleasure to introduce our professional groomer, Jody Barber.  Jody has been grooming since 1989, having been trained in Michigan by professional show groomers in high-volume salons that specialized in several different breeds.  She moved to Kentucky in 1996, and owned her own grooming salon for over 20 years.  After trying Florida living for a little while, she missed home and came back to the Bluegrass.  We have been so happy to have her on our team, her grooms are phenomenal!

Jody has several years in the show ring.  She has titled many Boston Terriers with their AKC Championship Title in the confirmation ring.  She has a French Bulldog named Quigley who she will be hitting the show ring with soon.  She enjoys horseback riding and has a history in dressage but now just enjoys riding for pleasure.  She recently adopted Chaz, a kitten that was rescued by Commonwealth and he has quickly made himself quite at home with her four dogs!
